How much do services cost?

The Women's Health Project accepts most forms of health insurance. For individuals who do not have health insurance, our service fees are determined on a case by case basis and are flexible and affordable.

What is the treatment approach?

The WHP starts with you. Based on your situation, we work with you to determine the most appropriate treatment approach.

We try to design programs that will meet your needs and that will limit the time you spend in treatment. In many cases, treatment lasts between three and six months. In some cases, based on an individual's specific situation and needs, treatment will be longer.

What is the admissions process?

Referral to WHP can be arranged by calling us at 212-523-7693. A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation will be scheduled. You may be referred to another program at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center for treatment, if that seems more appropriate.

Are services confidential?

Yes. The information you provide -- from your initial evaluation through your entire treatment period --remains confidential. We will not share any information with other individuals or organizations without your consent.
